Corrections & Audit DisputesPUBLIC POLICY

Process for creators, viewers, or researchers to submit corrections or dispute extracted stock recommendations.

WHAT WE CORRECT

alphaYT relies on automated extraction of stock recommendations from YouTube videos, including AI-assisted analysis. Extraction can occasionally produce errors, including:

  • Wrong ticker, action type, or conviction for a recommendation.
  • Misattribution of a recommendation to the wrong video or creator.
  • Incorrect evidence quote or timestamp.
  • Incorrect exclusion classification or position state.

We are committed to correcting verified errors promptly and transparently.

HOW TO SUBMIT A CORRECTION

To submit a correction or dispute, please provide:

  • The specific page URL(s) on alphaYT at issue.
  • The source YouTube video URL and channel name.
  • The video timestamp where the recommendation (or the correct information) appears, if available.
  • A clear description of the error and the correction you believe is warranted.

Corrections contact: corrections@alphayt.xyz (placeholder address — final contact is set at launch).

OUR PROCESS

Our review process works as follows:

  1. Acknowledge. We confirm receipt of the submission, typically within a few business days.
  2. Verify. We review the submission against the source video and our extraction records. Where the source video is the authoritative reference, we verify the claim against it.
  3. Correct. If the error is confirmed, we correct the affected record (e.g., re-extract the video, fix the pick, or update the position) and notify the submitter.
  4. Explain. If we determine no correction is warranted, we explain our reasoning to the submitter.

Corrections are applied to the underlying data and propagate to all derived pages (picks, positions, consensus, leaderboard) on the next refresh.

CREATOR REMOVAL & OPT-OUT

Creators who do not wish to be tracked may request removal from the platform. We will honor such requests by deactivating the channel from active tracking and removing it from public rankings. Historical factual records may remain for audit transparency, consistent with our attribution policy.
