alphaYT is a public, read-only research platform. We do not require accounts, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal financial information from visitors. We do not sell visitor data.

The only data we collect is aggregate, anonymized page-view analytics, described below.

We measure aggregate page views using PostHog (PostHog Cloud, free tier) in a strictly cookie-less configuration:

• No cookies. PostHog runs in cookieless_mode: "always" with persistence: "memory" — no first-party or third-party cookies, and no local/session storage identity keys.
• Page views only. We capture the $pageview event (current page URL) only. Autocapture, page-leave events, and session recording are disabled.
• No personal identification. Person profiles are set to identified-only, and we never identify visitors. Analytics are aggregate and anonymized.
• Do Not Track. We honor the browser Do Not Track (DNT) signal (respect_dnt: true).
• Opt-out by default. When analytics environment variables are not configured, no analytics code runs at all.

PostHog processes this data on its own infrastructure under its privacy policy. We do not use advertising SDKs or third-party ad trackers.

Vercel Web Analytics (anonymized, cookie-less, no cross-app IDs, URL redaction for tokens) — aggregate page-view counts and referrer aggregates only; no cookies, no cross-app identifiers, and URL query parameters that look like tokens are redacted before storage. Data is processed on Vercel's infrastructure under its privacy policy. This is independent from PostHog (no double-capture; PostHog uses capture_pageview: 'history_change' and Vercel uses its own auto-injected beacon).

Vercel Speed Insights (Core Web Vitals only) — measures real-user Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and related performance timings only; no personal data, no advertising use. Data is processed on Vercel's infrastructure under its privacy policy.

The platform publishes factual records derived from public YouTube videos: extracted stock recommendations, positions, returns, and consensus rankings, each attributed to its public source video. This is public information about public recommendations, not personal data about visitors. Creators may request removal or correction via our corrections policy.
