YouTube API Terms of Service compliance, video source attributions, and evidence quote policies.

SOURCE ATTRIBUTION

Every extracted stock pick on alphaYT links directly to its original YouTube source video, with a timestamp where available. Each pick row displays a Source Evidence link that opens the exact video (and, where possible, the relevant moment) on YouTube. We do not re-host, embed, or reproduce video content.

We use the YouTube Data API and RSS feeds to obtain metadata only: video titles, publication timestamps, durations, and channel information. We do not download or store video files or audio.

EVIDENCE QUOTE POLICY

Where we display a short quotation as evidence for an extracted pick, the quote is limited to a brief excerpt of no more than 200 characters, and is always accompanied by a link to the full source video. Longer quotes are truncated at persistence. These brief excerpts are used for the transformative purpose of documenting and auditing a public recommendation, and are attributed to their source.

YOUTUBE API TERMS

alphaYT uses the YouTube Data API and YouTube RSS feeds in accordance with the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We access metadata and public video information only, and we do not use the API to download video or audio content. See docs/COMPLIANCE.md for the full compliance checklist.
